As many people probably keep telling you, Christmas is only five weeks away. For us it seems to start in September, when we begin receiving our first orders for mince pies.

This year, as a lot of things have changed around here we thought we’d bring out a new mince pie too. So for the first time, we are offering packs of Artisan Mince Pies, alongside our usual varieties. These are made using a deep all butter pastry case, which we fill with a Bramley Apple & Brandy Mincemeat enriched with cranberries and orange zest. Every lid is cut by hand using two separate cutters and the pies are finished with a light dusting of sugar snow.

We’re pleased to say they are proving quite popular. Let us know what you think.
