July 27, 2017 - pullins-admin - Awards Generation IV Gluten Free

It’s been an exciting month for us on the awards front…

Great British Food Awards

Three of our products have been shortlisted for the Great British Food Awards, a scheme that celebrates the country’s finest home-grown ingredients, as well as the hard-working folk who produce and cook with them.  Our Olive Stick is in the final for the Savoury Bake category, judged by celebrity chef, Nathan Outlaw.  Handmade with local mature Cheddar Cheese from Lyecross Farm, olives from the Real Olive Co. in Bristol and flour from Shipton Mill, we hope it does us proud.

Two of our gluten free cakes are also shortlisted in the Gluten Free category, being judged by recipe book author, Naomi Devlin.  The two cakes in question are the Trillionaire, a handmade gluten free shortbread topped with homemade caramel and Belgian chocolate, and our Balboa – the ultimate Rocky Road, made with our own gluten free digestive biscuit, Belgian chocolate, cherries and marshmallow.  Cross your fingers, we’ll keep you posted.

Crumbs Awards

We are a finalist in the Food Supplier category for the Crumbs Awards, judged by the people behind Crumbs Magazine.  We were chosen based on our ethics as a food producer and the quality of our produce among other factors. There are some great companies in our category and we are honoured to be a finalist.  The winners will not be announced until October… Watch this space.
